UPDATED COMPETITION GUIDELINES COMING SOON!
Please call us if you have any questions or need clarification.
Official rule interpretations may be obtained by utilizing the following protocol:

b. Provide a written explanation of the question to include team name, division, coach’s name, mailing address, phone number, and email address. Cheer Ltd will call with a verbal ruling as well as fax a written copy of the ruling.
c. Official rulings will not be made after February 15, 2019 for Cheer Ltd. Nationals at CANAM.
d. Submit your Video and written explanation to:
Attn: Rules Interpretation
118 Ridgeway Dr., Suite 101
Fayetteville, NC 28311.
or via email to Lori Wickham, firstname.lastname@example.org
Cheer Ltd can only interpret if the stunt, pyramid, or tumbling in question is executed legally based on the quality of the video/DVD and it's filming. You may still incur safety deductions if the stunt, pyramid, or tumbling in question is performed differently during competition. Any ruling does not guarantee that you will not incur safety deductions during the performance of your routine. Documentation of each safety ruling request and the interpretation will be reviewed and available to the judges at the event at which the team is competing.
Varsity Video Media Policy 2018-2019
No commercial recording (audio or visual) or commercial live streaming is allowed in the event venue or other event-related venues (including, but not limited to, hotels, and restaurants) or on the grounds of any such venues (collectively, "Event Locations"). In the event a team authorizes the commercial recording or streaming in any Event Location, the team will be automatically disqualified. In addition, the personal, non-commercial use of live streaming apps (such as Periscope, FacebookLive, etc.) to capure all or any part of a performance during the event is not permitted. By attending/purchasing admission to the event, each attendee grants permission to Varsity Spirit, LLC and its affiliates, designees, agents, licensees, and invitees to use the image, likeness, actions and statements of the attendee in any live or recorded ausio, video, film, or photographic desplay or other transmission, exhibition, publication, or reproduction made of, or at, the event in any medium whether now known or hereafter created, or context for any purpose including commercial or promotional purposes without further authorization or compensation.
Varsity All Star will ultimately decide if there is enough evidence available to support the disqualification and will make a final decision on the status of that program / team. In the spirit of protecting our athletes, we hope you understand this year's no tolerance policy.
Force Majeure Clause
Neither party shall be liable in damages or have the right to terminate this Agreement for any delay or default in performing hereunder if such delay or default is caused by conditions beyond its control including, but not limited to, Acts of God, Government restrictions (including the denial or cancellation of any export or other necessary license), wars, insurrections, acts of terrorism and/or any other cause beyond the reasonable control of the party whose performance is affected.
